Why Energy Drinks Help Cancer Related Fatigue

The largest complaint heard from cancer patients is the fact they are so exhausted or fatigued.  Cancer-related fatigue affects approximately 60 to 90% of cancer patients.  These miracle energy drinks are completely natural and will help you avoid any over-the-counter deadly energy drinks that your doctor and or friends may be encouraging you to drink.

Recent news has shown that pre-packaged energy drinks are unhealthy and deadly in some cases.  Recent we saw deaths from the 5 Hour Monster Energy Drinks.  The energy drinks were responsible for death, convulsions and spontaneous abortion.  You do not have to put your life in danger.

According to Natural News, "Officials with the Food and Drug Administration say they've received reports of 13 deaths over the last four years where there was at least a causal link to the brand 5-Hour Energy, an energy shot that contains a potent amount of caffeine.

The New York Times said that the disclosure of the reports is the second time in weeks that filings by the agency cited deaths linked to energy drinks. In October, the FDA said it had received five reports involving fatalities that were linked to another popular energy drink, Monster Energy."

Even my father regularly took Ensure drinks to keep his energy levels up because the chemotherapy robbed him of being able to eat anything.  He would regularly go to the kitchen sink and vomit everything.  Some 20 years ago we did not know what we do now about healthy alternatives to cancer.  So if you are experiencing cancer-related fatigue, try some of these recipes and see if you do not feel better naturally.

Nigella Sativa and Orange Juice

The easiest drink to make is with Nigella sativa (black cumin) and freshly squeezed orange juice.  Take the juice of one fresh orange and add in 1 teaspoon of black cumin oil and mix.  Drink this 1/2 hour before breakfast or on an empty stomach first thing in the morning.  It will give you energy for sure.

Energizing Strawberry Smoothie with Ginseng

  Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup of almond milk
  • 1/2 cup Greek Style Yogurt (raw goat yogurt is great)
  • 2 frozen bananas (cut into chunks)
  • 3/4 cup of strawberries (sliced and frozen)
  • 1/2 teaspoon of ginseng powder

Directions

Place all the above in a heavy duty blender and blend on high.  For added power and energy, add in 1 tablespoon of freshly ground flax seeds or cold pressed whey powder.  Do not use whey isolate you find in the grocery store.  Dr. Mercola sells a wonderful cold pressed whey.
